Sketchbook - Feature Film (In Development)

Sketchbook is a teen horror feature written and directed by Jamie Jones.

The film follows Osian, a lonely fourteen-year-old who returns home after years in foster care and struggles to fit back into his family, his school and his own life. Drawing is the one place he feels in control — until he discovers a cursed sketchbook where anything he draws begins to happen in the real world.

At first, the book gives Osian status. It helps him impress a gang of misfit classmates, buy friendship and get closer to Rhi, the one person who seems to really see him. But as the drawings become more powerful, the book reveals something older and darker: symbols, rituals, and images that appear without Osian remembering drawing them.

Rooted in working-class family drama, bullying, peer pressure and adolescent longing, Sketchbook blends grounded realism with elemental horror — a story about a boy desperate to become someone, and a book that starts using that desire against him.
