Beyond Fiction

A short film segment for the main GALWAD Live show, set around Merthyr Tydfil and exploring a future Wales through landscape, youth, community and the strange rupture between 2022 and 2052. Forged in the iron furnaces, the people of Merthyr have endured heat and pressure; this film celebrates that resilience, carrying the town’s industrial past into an imagined future.
